Melanesia. Fiji, New Caledonia, Soloman Islands and Vanuatu.

Micronesia. Kiribati, Caroline Islands (capital Belau, on Koror), Federated States of Micronesia (capital Kolonia, on Ponape), Mariana Islands (Guam and Northern Marianas), Marshall Islands and Gilbert Islands.

Polynesia. American Samoa, Cook Island, French Polynesia (see below), Niue, Tonga and Western Samoa.

French Polynesia. Gambier, Marquesas, Society, Tuamotu and Tubuai Islands. The Society Islands are split into: The Leeward Islands (Huahine, Paiatec, Tahaa, Bora-Bora and Maupiti) and Windward Islands (Tahiti, Moorea).

Greater Antillies. Cuba, Hispaniola (Dominican Republic & Haiti), Jamaica, Caymen Islands and Puerto Rico.

Lesser Antilles. Leeward and Windward Islands.

Leeward Islands: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Guadeloupe, St Kitts & Nevis, Monserrat, The Netherlands Antilles (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) and US Virgin Islands.

Windward Islands: Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Martinique, St Lucia, St Vincent & Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago.
